Keep it Simple
“The I’m a gonna’ and the half-a-minders are the never doers” David Arrington, Businessman
The beginning of a new year is a good time to set both personal and business related goals. If you just tell yourself, “I’m going to lose some weight or read a few good books,” it’s a sure route to failure when it comes to achieving those goals. This kind of talk goes back to the quote that inspired this editorial. This year, take an hour in a quiet place and write down five goals you want to achieve. Make sure you include both personal and business goals. Don’t overdo it and suffer from paralysis of analysis. Now, write all five down on a three by five inch note card. Keep this card with you all the time, and read it at least twice each day. Having your goals in front of you will dramatically increase your ability to achieve them. Just remember, keep it simple! Make this year your best ever! Keep on lubin.
P.S. Only about 3 percent of people ever write down their goals! Be a three percenter!
