OTC Unveils New Diesel Particulate Filter Cleaner
OTC recently unveiled its new Diesel Particulate Filter Cleaner, an OEM-tested DPF cleaning system specifically designed to clean the diesel particulate filter element that is now being used on diesel engines to remove particulate matter or soot from the exhaust gases. The patented cleaning process allows the DPF to be cleaned as part of a general maintenance schedule at the service location with minimal time away from the vehicle.
The unit consists of an enclosed HEPA-filtered cabinet, a provision for 120- to 150-psi air pressure and a strong vacuum, which helps control loose ash in the cabinet. OTC’s patented high-pressure cleaning process delivers approximately 10 times the burst energy over competitive models with an average cleaning cycle of 30 minutes depending on the level of contamination, and it can deliver up to 92 percent cleaning efficiency of ash-laden DPFs when used with authorized SPX adapters and burst patterns.

Qwic Wash Releases New Proportioners
Qwic Wash recently released new proportioners, which allow operators to manufacture their own windshield washer fluid with industry leading consistency.
The proportioners will create a consistent mixture for 32º F or minus -50º F.
These proportioners help eliminate the ordering, receiving, unpacking, stocking, spillage and inventory tracking that add to the cost of a gallon of washer fluid.

Autopro Distributing Introduces NIflate99 Line
Autopro Distributing recently launched the easy-to-use and affordable NIflate99 line of nitrogen tire inflation equipment.
NIflate99 equipment is fully portable and uses cylinders of 99.9 percent pure nitrogen, ensuring high purity nitrogen in customers’ tires.
Models vary from manual operation to fully-automatic, set-it-and-forget-it models. The fully automatic models allow the technician to connect all four hoses, set the desired tire pressure and walk away. The machine will complete the service in seven to 12 minutes, depending on tire size, purging each tire twice and leaving 98 percent nitrogen purity in each tire, which is essential to providing the customer with maximum benefit.
Most models also feature an ergonomic cart, which changes the cart’s center of gravity, making it very stable and simple to roll around the shop. The cart also makes the controller easier to see and for the technician to operate.
