Purolator recently unveiled changes to the ProMotive filter line. The oil filter line features size standardizations for existing and new applications, reducing outbound freight and inventory costs, and requiring less storage space.

Fram recently revamped its core air filter product packaging with its new Engine Protection claims. Launched as part of the Fram Engine Protection initiative, Fram Extra Guard air filters are providing their Engine Protection filter rating to help make selection easier.

RTI Technologies recently introduced a hand-held nitrogen tire top-off tool. The NitroPro NTO-200 Nitrogen Tire Top-Off System was developed to give fast lube shops the ability to top-off nitrogen inflated tires as part of their service offering.

One benefit of the NitroPro includes not having to turn away service with customers having nitrogen-inflated tires. Also, it provides 95 percent nitrogen purity right out of the nozzle, and membrane life expectancy is up to 25,000 tire top-offs depending upon the amount of nitrogen required for the top-off service.
