Service Intervals
At every oil change:
• Check engine coolant level; also inspect engine cooling system.
• Check windshield wiper blades.
• Check tire inflation and tire wear.
• Rotate tires.
• Visually inspect for fluid leaks.
• Inspect air cleaner filter.
• Inspect brake system.
• Inspect steering and suspension.
• Lubricate body hinges and latches.
• Check automatic transmission fluid level and add fluid, if needed.
First oil change after 25,000 miles (40,000 km):
• Inspect fuel system.
• Replace passenger compartment air filter (or every 12 months, whichever occurs first). More frequent replacement may be required if vehicle is driven in dusty conditions.

First oil change after 50,000 miles (80,000 km):
• Replace engine air cleaner. (Inspect at each oil change if vehicle is driven in dusty/dirty conditions.)
• Change automatic transmission fluid if vehicle is mainly driven in heavy city traffic in hot weather; in hilly or mountainous terrain; when frequently towing a trailer; or used for taxi, police or delivery service.
First oil change after 100,000 miles (160,000 km):
• Change automatic transmission fluid.
• Replace spark plugs.
First oil change after 150,000 miles (240,000 km):
• Flush and refill engine cooling system; perform cap pressure check (or every five years, whichever occurs first).
• Inspect accessory drive belt and replace, if needed.
Fluids and Capacities
Motor oil — SAE 5W-30 meeting GM standard 4718M. (Note: Motor oil meeting this standard is generally identified as synthetic.) Capacity (with filter) is 6.0 quarts (5.7 liters).
Automatic transmission fluid (3.0L V6 models only) — Dexron-VI ATF. Capacity is 9.5 quarts (9.0 liters).
Automatic transmission fluid (2.8L V6 models only) — GM ATF (U.S. part number 19256039). Note: GM notes that the ATF in vehicles with 2.8L V6 engines does not need replacing.
Coolant — Dex-Cool 50/50 mixture with water. Capacity is 12.6 quarts (11.9 liters).
Brake fluid — DOT3.
Power steering fluid — Dexron-VI ATF.
