Midas Auto Systems Experts, the 2015 Midas Dealer of the Year, is opening a new Midas location in Ankeny – its seventh Midas franchise in the Des Moines region – to meet the community’s growing demand for trusted, full-service auto repair facilities. The new Midas Ankeny store is located near Des Moines Area Community College at 295 SW Oralabor Road.
In recognition of the grand opening, Midas Ankeny is hosting a community open house on Saturday, July 23 between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m., and is giving customers that visit Midas Ankeny in July or August the chance to win one of two Alaskan cruises, a set of four tires, Kansas City Royals tickets (July winner), a four-pack of tickets to the Iowa State Fair or free auto service. A ribbon cutting ceremony with the Ankeny Chamber of Commerce is also planned for Tuesday, August 9 at noon.

The new Midas Ankeny store will offer customers complimentary shuttle service to and from their home or work while their vehicle is being serviced. The 5,500 square foot service center will employ seven full-time team members and features free customer Wi-Fi.
Des Moines area Midas franchises participate in Midas Drive Out Hunger, which contributes one dollar of each oil change to local area food banks. Each dollar feeds up to five hungry people in the local community. Midas Ankeny is one of 39 employee-owned stores across Midas Auto Systems Experts’ franchise operations in Iowa, Illinois, Nebraska, Missouri, Kansas and Oklahoma.
