Mighty to Bike Tour de Cure

May 7, 2015
Team Mighty will be riding to raise money and help make a difference in the fight to stop diabetes. Participating with a strong sense of purpose and inspiration, Team Mighty will be riding this year in the memory of their co-worker Dave Raphael, who suddenly, tragically passed away in September, 2014. Raphael was so committed when he participated in the 2014 Atlanta Tour de Cure that he was a “champion,” raising more than $1,000 in donations, to fight diabetes. Headed by Team Captain Carmen Strickland, Team Mighty has grown this year to include three of Raphael’s close friends: Howard Moses, Maurice Rosenbaum

Headed by Team Captain Carmen Strickland, Team Mighty has grown this year to include three of Raphael’s close friends: Howard Moses, Maurice Rosenbaum and David Rubini, all riding to help honor such a wonderful man. “We are committed to ride and raise money in this inspirational event,” said Strickland, “not only because 29 million people in the United States have diabetes, but also because we personally know some of them and want to do something about it.”
