Sept. 10, 2019

The 529 plan covers not only four-year college students, but also trade, specialty, and technical schools such as electrical and automotive school, as well as a vocational school, professional school, and postgraduate education.

September 10, 2019—The Education Plan, New Mexico’s 529 education savings plan, is preparing automotive and technician students for future education expenses.

The 529 plan covers not only four-year college students, but also trade, specialty, and technical schools such as electrical and automotive school, as well as a vocational school, professional school, and postgraduate education.

Regardless of a student’s age or career path, parents, family members, and friends can make contributions to The Education Plan and help plan for their loved one’s future while reducing the burden of student loan debt.

Funds from The Education Plan can be used to pay for more than 200 qualified education expenses, including tuition, housing, books, computers, supplies, fees and more, at any accredited college, university, trade or technical school across the country and online, and even some academic institutions abroad.
