Nov. 12, 2019

This acquisition strengthens Spiffy’s Fleet Management as a Service (FMaaS) offering by adding YLL’s high-volume oil change system, technicians and fleet.

Nov.12, 2019—Spiffy, an on-demand car care, technology, and services company, announced the acquisition of Your Location Lubrication (YLL). This acquisition strengthens Spiffy’s Fleet Management as a Service offering by adding YLL’s high-volume oil change system, technicians and fleet. Through organic expansion and the YLL acquisition, Spiffy now offers FMaaS in 20 markets, according to a press release.

YLL was founded in 2009 in Orlando, Fla., by Zachary Zeller. Over the last 10 years, YLL has had 190 percent three-year growth, the release said.

“Today’s fleet managers are seeking innovative preventative maintenance solutions to reduce vehicle turnaround and increase utilization,” said Zachary Zeller, Your Location Lubrication CEO. “Providing that type of service requires multifunctional capabilities and a digital backbone. Spiffy Fleet Management as a Service delivers that and I’m thrilled to add our advanced on-site oil change solution to the mix. Joining forces will help our customers optimize fleet utilization and drive ROI.”

Zeller will stay on with Spiffy as Senior Vice President of Fleet Business Development.

“Preventative maintenance is the top priority for our fleet clients, especially oil change and tire rotation. By combining our technology and expertise with YLL’s, we will be able to provide those services even more efficiently, which translates directly into dollars for our clients,” said Spiffy CEO Scot Wingo. “We are also really excited to add the YLL high-volume oil change offering into the Spiffy FMaaS solution.”

After this combination, Spiffy will have:

  • 20 markets
  • 300+ Professional, W2 Technicians
  • Fleet of over 200 vans equipped with proprietary technology to deliver a variety of in-fleet, preventative maintenance and de-fleeting services for any size fleet.
  • 1,500 daily services, 45,000 per month
  • The combined company provides over 40,000 preventative maintenance services for fleets every month
