Shell Produced 5B Liters of Finished Lubricants in 2019

That's according to a global market analysis report from Kline and Company, the press release said. Shell took the top production spot in consumer automotive, commercial automotive and industrial lubricant categories.

Shell produced massive amounts of finished lubricants in 2019. According to the press release, it produced 4,500 kilotons or 5 billion liters in 2019. Sales across the works were roughly a third in each of the categories—consumer automotive, commercial automotive and industrial.

Shell's oil brands include Quaker State and Pennzoil.
