Dec. 18, 2020—Take 5 Oil Change says it has passed the $1 million mark across its network in giving to children's hospitals.
COVID-19 delayed the fundraiser in 2020, according to a press release. When customer traffic picked up again, the fundraising picked up from Aug. 24 through Nov. 7. The total amount raised was $1,070,702.28 over 550 shop locations in 2020.
The pandemic caused a sharp drop in revenue for children's hospitals, the release said.
