Jan. 7, 2021—FullSpeed Automotive announced that it has acquired Economy Oil Change, a Connecticut-based chain with three locations.
The deal finalized in late December, according to a press release. The locations are in Glastonbury, Manchester and Vernon.
“We are very excited to add Economy Oil Change to our family of 600 plus automotive centers,” said FullSpeed CEP Kevin Kormondy in the press release. “Economy has an impressive operation and extremely loyal customer base. This purchase was an opportunity for us to demonstrate our commitment to growth in the northeastern United States and is an outstanding complement to our existing brands."
FullSpeed recently came under the ownership of MidOcean Partners, a private equity group.
