Jan. 18, 2021 — Christian Brothers Automotive released its yearly performance metrics on Friday, which detail the company’s record growth despite the negative industry-wide effects felt from the COVID-19 pandemic.

According to a press release, Christian Brothers saw 10.5 percent systemwide sales growth, opened 19 new stores, completed 20 new construction projects and did not close a single location in 2020.

“Our faith-based approach to automotive repair has buoyed business for many of our franchisees and we pride ourselves on always supporting our franchise family through every challenge and the pandemic has been no exception,” company President Donnie Carr said in a press release.

The company credits new technology it invested in prior to the pandemic along with the brand’s efficient operations model for record-breaking sales.

Christian Brothers also outlined its 2021 expansion plan, which looks to add 23 more locations and 35 new multi-unit franchise locations. Christian Bros currently operates over 230 locations in 30 states.

“Our success in 2020 laid the groundwork to build out our presence in existing markets in 2021, and that’s really where our developments efforts are going to be focused over the next 12 months,” added Carr in the press release. “We’re excited for what the future holds for Christian Brothers.”
