Jan. 27, 2021— GoGo’s Tire and Lube was recently highlighted by its local newspaper, The Hastings Tribune.
Located in Hastings, Neb., the shop opened last February after three brothers — Candy, Alex and Adam Gomez — saw the need for a quick lube shop in the community. Customers were being forced to leave their cars for hours at other shops just for a quick tire patch or oil change.
“People have stuff to do,” he told the paper. “A tire patch literally takes 30 minutes, and it’s inconvenient for someone to leave their vehicle for a long time. We thought that would be a good step toward helping everybody out.”
The shop has tried to maintain the focus on easing any troubles of the community. When they noticed customers couldn’t get away from their 8-5 jobs for routine maintenance, they began picking up and dropping off vehicles at their work. When there was an increased demand for muffler work, they added that service.
