Sept. 1, 2021—Team Car Care, a Texas-based franchisee of Jiffy Lube, recently awarded several scholarships to members of its team and their families.
The brand gave away four $2,000 academic scholarships earlier this summer. Three employees—two in California and one in Illinois—as well as the daughter of an employee in Minnesota were this year's recipients, according to a news release.
"This award will allow me to concentrate more on my schooling and take away the financial stress that college can bring," recipient Emmanuel Maldonado said. "Thanks to you, I will be able to lessen the financial burden on myself and my family, helping us tremendously in this unpredictable time we are going through. "
