FRAM Announces New Synthetic Oil Filter

FRAM, an aftermarket parts producer, announced on Wednesday the launch of its new Ultra Synthetic® oil filter.

Sept. 30, 2021—FRAM, an aftermarket parts producer, announced on Wednesday the launch of its new Ultra Synthetic oil filter.

The new filter features an two-ply design according to a news release, with one side featuring "a synthetic blend for durable structure and filtering support," with the other being a "fully synthetic media" that offers "higher flow efficiency and superior filtration performance."

“We are excited to bring our updated Ultra Synthetic filters to the market,” FRAM Senior Marketing Director Carl Weber said. “The new dual-layer media material provides ultimate protection for up to 20,000 miles, delivering the reliable performance our customers have come to expect.”

FRAM, based in Cleveland, produces more than 90 percent of its filters in the United States.
