Oct. 7, 2021—The residents of Cuero, Texas, now have a brand-new one-stop-shop for their car maintenance needs.
Edward and Sherry Oakes opened Cuero Lube & Tire earlier this week in the town, which is about 90 miles southeast of San Antonio on Highway 87.
The Oakes' shop will provides state inspections and full tire services as well as quick lube and oil change services, according to a report from the Cuero Record.
"You won’t have to travel all the way to Victoria. A lot of people are traveling to Victoria to get tires fixed and now they won’t have to. I know we already have a tire place here, but everyone benefits when there’s competition,” Edward Oakes says. “We’re going to be open Saturdays; there’s no one open on Saturday for tires. Whatever tires you need, we’ll have them. Oil changes or state inspections, we’ll be doing those on Saturdays, too.”
