Nov. 16, 2021—FullSpeed Automotive is on track to close "a remarkable 2021" with the opening of its 700th location.

According to a news release, FullSpeed has opened 75 new shops, awarded 45 franchises and acquired 21 existing stores between its Grease Monkey and SpeeDee Oil Change & Auto Service brands.

The top half of both brands franchised stores generated well over $1 million per store annually, according to 2020 franchise disclosure documents.

"The future of the industry remains strong and vibrant, and our goal is to focus on the success of our franchisees as we continue to expand our footprint – that's what drives us," FullSpeed CEO Kevin Kormondy said. "We look forward to a momentous 2022 as we build on the strength of our flagship brands and grow our presence both domestically and internationally."
