March 25, 2022—Costa Oil is sponsoring the No. 45 car driven by Ryan Ellis in the NASCAR Xfinity Series.
The news was announced on Twitter and shared on Tobychristie.com, which shared comments from founder Costa Kapothanasis.
“We are super excited for the opportunity to work with Ryan and Alpha Prime Racing,” Kapothanasis said as part of comments on Tobychristie.com. “Specialty oil products go hand in hand with the performance automotive world and for us to be a part of that is very intriguing for us. Having our first event with Alpha Prime Racing and Ryan Ellis at Dover is something that we could not have imagined."
He added that the first event with the sponsorship will be at Dover, which is near Costa Oil's headquarters.
