July 25, 2022—A Mavis Tires & Brakes location in Georgia rescued a kitten from the engine area of a customer's vehicle.
According to WJCL News, a man visited the Mavis shop in Savannah, Georgia, because he heard a strange sound coming from the front end of his car.
Soon enough, the Mavis team discovered that a kitten stuck near the engine was the cause.
Lauren Enners, Assistant Manager at the shop, said that they nearly had to take apart the whole car to get the kitten out, as the feline kept moving around to different areas.
"We just kept calling 'kitten, kitten'...tried to see where it's coming from," Enners said to WJCL news.
The team also used food to try and lure the kitten out.
The kitten has been successfully removed from the car, and is safe and sound. Currently, they are still looking for a forever home for the feline.
