July 27, 2022—The date for the Federated Auto Parts 400 NASCAR race has been set.
According to a press release, the race will be held at Richmond Raceway in Virginia on Aug. 14, 2022, at 3:00 p.m. ET.
“We are looking forward to sponsoring the first-ever summer NASCAR Cup Series race at America’s premier short track, Richmond Raceway,” said J.R. Bishop, motorsports and event marketing director for Federated Auto Parts via the press release. “We know our members, customers and vendor partners will enjoy a fun-filled weekend of racing and hospitality. Winners of the Federated 400 Suite Deal Weekend will also be in attendance for what we know will be a memorable race weekend experience.”
Kenny Schrader, NASCAR legend and Federated spokesperson, will also be available at the event to interact with Federated members as well as suppliers and invited guests.
Federated Auto Parts is one of the largest auto parts distribution and marketing organizations in North America, and celebrates 27 years of involvement with NASCAR this year. Federated has been the title sponsor of the NASCAR Cup Series race in Richmond since 2012.
