A Meineke Car Care Center in Sioux Falls, S.D., has reopened after being hit by a tornado nine months prior.

Meineke Car Care Center in Gardener, Mass., is using the profits they make from oil changes during the month of May to donate to its local healthcare facilities and those in need amid the coronavirus pandemic.

RelaDyne has partnered its automotive brand, DuraMax, as a supplier to over 800 franchised Meineke locations in the U.S. and Canada.

Meineke says it's in the middle of a customer research effort in order to understand and deliver what customers want from their automotive repair experience.

The company says it's getting more franchisee participation and has reached 3,271 free oil changes this year.

The operators are looking forward to rebuilding after a series of tornadoes devastated the shop and the city of Sioux Falls.

Dave Repass leads by example, gaining business by being a visible face in the community of Lewes.

The Charlotte-based franchisee already has seven locations under his belt.
