Valvoline Instant Oil Change Holds Fundraising Campaign for American Cancer Society

Valvoline Instant Oil Change recently held a fundraiser in support of the American Cancer Society Road To Recovery program, as shared in a press release.

The American Cancer Society Road To Recovery program connects volunteer drivers with cancer patients to help get them to medical appointments and treatment sessions on time.

From October 17th to the 19th, participating Valvoline locations participated in a Drive-Thru Donation Weekend, offering up to 20% off an oil change to customers who donated. Valvoline also offered coupons for the event, and donated $5 for every one redeemed.

“Through this partnership with Valvoline Instant Oil Change, we are addressing a critical need for cancer patients: access to transportation,” said Courtney Wallace, program manager for the American Cancer Society. “By helping patients reach their appointments, we are enabling them to focus on their treatment and recovery, without the added stress of how to get there.”
