Dec. 16, 2022—For those looking to test or recertify, the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) announced three options to do so in a recent press release:
1. ASE in-person testing. Offered throughout the year at more than 450 secured, proctored Prometric test centers.
2. ASE renewal app. Those with unexpired automobile certifications (A1-A9) can extend their ASE certifications without having to take time off or go to a secure test center for testing.
3. ProProctor remote testing. An online recertification solution for all ASE recertification tests, excluding L1 and L2 tests.
