Shop Speaks about Difficult Parts Sourcing

June 7, 2021—Erie News Now spoke with a local shop manager about the difficulty in sourcing parts.

The manager of the shop, C&J Automotive Performance of Erie, Penn., told the news station that small parts like gaskets can take six months to order, and the delay is hurting business.

While lots of news focuses on semiconductor chip shortages, parts of all kinds are on back order and supply chains are strained as the world transitions away from the pandemic, reported NBC news in March.
