A Texas auto shop decided to accept vocal performances in exchange for oil changes as part of a recent promotion.

The shop owner told CBS19 that it’s all in good fun.

“We just decided to do something different,” said Randy Russell, owner of Russel Brothers Engine Express in Tyler. “Something we would enjoy as much as the customer.”

Customers can make an appointment and sing a karaoke song (or two, Russell told the news station) in the shop while technicians change the oil.

Are there videos of these performances? There sure are, courtesy of Russell Brothers.
