Crews battled a large fire at an auto repair shop on J Street between 17 and 18th streets in downtown Sacramento, California. The two-alarm fire broke out Sunday morning at the J Street Service Center. Cars were burning inside the auto shop, making it difficult to extinguish the fire, the Sacramento Fire Department said. Fire investigators were called to the scene to gather evidence and interview witnesses. However, they were not able to immediately get into the shop. More equipment was required to removed debris.

The cause of the fire is unknown.
