The $40 million-plus development being built on an 87-acre former General Motors plant site will include a private community of more than 250 private garages, a public experiential restaurant, and retail destination.

The performance track will be utilized for a variety of purposes. Most notably, it will available to the automotive industry for testing, training and marketing events.

M1 Concourse will also offer a multitude of events open to the public, including driving schools, open track days, autocross and more. Owners of the Private Garages at M1 Concourse will have track access through the M1 Motorsports Club.

Champion is one of more than 20 brands offered by Federal-Mogul Motorparts. The company forged a partnership with M1 Concourse resulting in the sponsorship agreement, announced yesterday.

For more than 100 years, Champion’s iconic red-and-black bowtie logo has been familiar to racing fans and millions of other auto enthusiasts and consumers. The brand has a storied legacy of success in motorsports. Champion spark plugs have powered numerous NASCAR champions and amassed more than 400 wins in Formula 1 racing.
