Two Texas Men Caught on Video Fighting with Weapons During Violent Road Rage Incident

Road rage turned violent when two drivers grabbed weapons and began to beat each other in the middle of an Austin intersection.Cellphone footage recorded by another driver shows one man swinging a baseball bat as he approaches a pickup truck at the intersection of Slaughter Lane and Interstate 35 in South Austin.The pickup truck driver emerges, fetches what appears to be a wooden rod from the bed and swings at the bat-wielding man.The two men then attack each other with their weapons, but both appear to calm down as the man recording the incident drives away.News station KVUE reported that

News station KVUE reported that Noel Esquivel, a 19-year-old man from New Braunfels, uploaded the videoto Twitter on Monday.

The video, which has vulgar language, has been retweeted 2,140 times as of 8:30 a.m. Tuesday.

Austin police told KVUE that they are searching for the suspect with the bat in his hand and are treating the case as an aggravated assault.
