Bridgestone and Shell Introduce Joint Motor Oil Program
A new nationwide program gives Bridgestone Affiliated Retailers access to the Shell line of lubricants. That includes Pennzoil and Quaker State motor oils and Shell Rotella engine oils.
“Delivering driver value, customer satisfaction and ensuring a competitive dealer network are all critical to Bridgestone’s success,” says John Baratta, president of consumer tire replacement sales, U.S. and Canada, for Bridgestone Americas Tire Operations LLC. “The Nationwide Network Shell Lubricants program... gives Bridgestone Affiliated Retailers a unique opportunity to deliver a more satisfying customer experience.”
Affiliated retailers who choose to enroll in the program will have exclusive access to the program’s benefits. They include competitive pricing, digital training resources, point-of-purchase marketing materials, traffic-driving promotions and a comprehensive oil selector tool.
According to Shell Lubricants, which collectively refers to the companies of Royal Dutch Shell plc that are engaged in the lubricants business, the brand benefits of the nationwide network oil program are extensive, and will incorporate existing programs already implemented, including the following:
* warranty retention programs,
* national spring and fall rebate promotions,
* access to the complete Shell Lubricants product portfolios,
* the MyMilesMatter loyalty program for Shell Rotella heavy-duty engine oil users,
* easy access to the Shell eServe ordering system and savings on bulk and volume purchases of Shell lubricants.
“Shell Lubricants designed the custom Lubricants Program exclusively for Bridgestone affiliated retailers across the country to provide consumers with quality branded motor oil at competitive pricing,” says Rusty Barron, vice president of marketing for Shell Lubricants. “By enrolling in the program, affiliated retailers will have a wealth of information at their fingertips promoting quick access to the in-demand products they need to stock their shelves.”
