A Jiffy Lube employee said he fought off an armed suspect Tuesday night.The employee told officers that he was closing the store around 7 p.m. near 137th and P streets when he head the back door slam.When the employee went to see what the noise was, he saw a Hispanic man holding a knife.The employee said him and the man fought for control of the knife and after the struggle, the intruder fled without taking anything from the business.Police said the man was about 5 feet 9 inches tall with a thin build, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, based

A Jiffy Lube employee said he fought off an armed suspect Tuesday night.

The employee told officers that he was closing the store around 7 p.m. near 137th and P streets when he head the back door slam.

When the employee went to see what the noise was, he saw a Hispanic man holding a knife.

The employee said him and the man fought for control of the knife and after the struggle, the intruder fled without taking anything from the business.

Police said the man was about 5 feet 9 inches tall with a thin build, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, based off the employees description.
