Petra Oil Company cut the ribbon on Phase I of its planned 65,000 square foot corporate campus in Northwest Houston, Texas, on March 4, 2016. Petra purchased the land to answer the demand for Harris County-manufactured products for customers in 24 countries.

“The automotive world wants their products produced in the USA. What Petra manufactures in Houston has been so well received by the world’s automotive market that in six years, we’ve outgrown three buildings,” said Arnold J. Gacita, president and CEO of Petra Oil. “Petra is answering demand from automotive dealers in every corner of the globe, and it’s taking a sales team of more than 400 people — and counting — to make it happen. Our new campus will allow us to continue to grow with the exponential needs of the market.”

According to Gacita, the company’s 300-percent revenue growth over the past five years equates to doubling the company’s business revenue three times and results in the physical need for a significantly larger operations facility as it expands operations worldwide to Asia and Latin America. Petra currently distributes its products to Russia, China, Japan, Korea, the Dominican Republic, Costa Rica, Panama, El Salvador, Guatemala and others in Central and South America as well as the Asia-Pacific region.
