Automechanika Chicago is the largest tradeshow and training event for automotive repair shop owners and technicians in the United States.

Together, ASE and Automechanika Chicago are planning exciting things for the automotive aftermarket industry. They’ve partnered together by committing to provide ASE testing during the upcoming Automechanika Chicago show. This way technicians and attendees interested in becoming ASE certified will be able to do so during the three-day show, which will take place Friday, April 24 – Sunday, April 26, 2015.

“This newly forged relationship with ASE is exciting news as we continue our focus on providing a quality platform for the automotive community,” said Bridget Ferris, Automechanika Chicago show director. “Automechanika Chicago is providing attendees the opportunity to expand their education through our training program, as well as receive ASE certification which translates into tangible proof of their technical knowledge.”

ASE testing will take place on Friday, April 24 and Saturday, April 25, 2015, at McCormick Place West in Chicago. It will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. Technicians can sign up ahead of time starting on March 1, 2015.

“This special ASE testing event at Automechanika Chicago provides an additional opportunity for attendees to achieve ASE certification while at the show,” said Tony Molla, ASE vice president of communication. “It’s an added convenience, which we are pleased to provide to help make the most of the show experience.”

Automechanika Chicago has also planned to support the automotive aftermarket industry further by awarding 2,000 scholarships for their training program, Motor Age Training Live. They will supply an ASE study guide to each testing registrant who signs up for the event.
