It’s been several years, practically since Alex Musbeh graduated from Sunnyside High School (SHS) in Sunnyside, Washington, since an oil and lube shop at 824 West Yakima Valley has sat vacant.

The 2006 SHS grad, who owns two other local businesses, recently re-opened the doors to that shop.

“I have my other two businesses across the street…I was tired of watching this location remain vacant,” said Musbeh, who owns One Stop Car Audio and One Stop Motors on Yakima Valley Highway.

The new business is named One Stop Tire and Lube.

“I think it makes it more convenient for the public…there is an alternative to the two other oil and lube businesses now,” Musbeh said.

He said he’s offering oil changes, using Quaker State products, at the cost of $19.99.

“You can’t go wrong with that, and I will be offering oil changes at that price as long as I can,” said the local businessman.

Keeping busy, owning three businesses, Musbeh said he believes it is important to expand the business market in Sunnyside.

The Sunnyside native began his stereo business while still a student attending high school, enrolled in the Running Start program.

That launched One Stop Car Audio, which was the impetus for the car sales operation.

“The support of the community and my success opened the door for this new business,” Musbeh said.

But, he isn’t planning on stopping with the services currently provided. He has plans to offer auto detailing at One Stop Tire and Lube, as well.

“Hopefully, this will bring new life to this business…if it doesn’t work out, I can use the location as a shop for my cars,” Musbeh quipped.
