A 23-year-old man has been charged with burglarizing a Dover Jiffy Lube early Friday.

Dover police were called to the Jiffy Lube, located at 236 S. Du Pont Highway, by business employees responding to the location after being notified by an alarm.

Store employees reported finding a broken garage door window and a witness reported seeing Ian Paddock running from the business a short time earlier.  While police were on scene, Paddock was seen crossing U.S. 13 near the business and was quickly apprehended by officers without incident, said Master Cpl. Mark Hoffman, a Dover police spokesman.

Paddock was charged with third-degree burglary, criminal mischief under and theft. He was released from custody after posting $750 secured bail.
