Eastside Technical Center students will work alongside some of Lexington’s top technicians at the 27th annual Bluegrass Car Care Clinic, which offers free vehicle inspections for FCPS staff, students, families, and the general public.

The first-come, first-served inspections run from 8 a.m. until noon on Saturday Oct. 1 outside the school, at 2208 Liberty Road next to the school district bus garage.

Eastside’s automotive, diesel, and collision classes will participate. Students will check such basics such as the oil, antifreeze, transmission fluid, power steering fluid, windshield wiper fluid, wiper blades, hoses, vacuum lines, electrical wires, exterior lighting, tire pressure, tread depth, windows, and the vehicle’s body. After the inspection, drivers can talk with the professional technicians about their findings and suggestions.
