Over 150 Christian Brothers auto shops are celebrating National Service Day by offering single mothers free maintenance service checks, oil changes and more.
Automotive technicians volunteer their time, vendors donate the parts, and members of the community come together for a fun-filled day which includes a free car wash, food, and entertainment.
Single mothers are invited to participate Saturday at any of the participating shops. A list of the participating shops can be found here.
Christian Brothers Automotive partnered with local churches to make this special event possible. Since the programs beginnings in 2005, Christian Brothers Automotive has been able to help more than 6,000 families headed by single mothers.
