Federal-Mogul to Offer $30,000 in 'Garage Gurus' Scholarships

Garage Gurus — representing what will be a nationwide network of facilities offering onsite, online and on-demand technical training and related support for vehicle repair professionals — will award 12 $2,500 scholarships for the 2015-2016 academic year. "This new scholarship program extends our investment to the next generation of talented, highly-trained professionals who will help keep millions of vehicles in safe, reliable condition."

Applicants for the 2015-2016 scholarships must be enrolled on a full-time or part-time basis in an accredited, U.S.-based automotive technical school, college or university. Scholarship awards will be based on completed applications, written essays or videos describing "Why I want to be a top technician," and other criteria. All applications and related materials will be reviewed by Federal-Mogul Motorparts employees and its team of ASE Master Certified Garage Gurus.
