TBC Corp. has opened an NTB Tire & Service Centers location in East Providence, its first in the state of Rhode Island.
Located close to downtown East Providence, the store — formerly a Goodyear tire and auto service outlet, according to an online address search — features eight service bays and state-of-the-art equipment and offers an array of consumer tires and automotive maintenance and repair services, TBC said.
The firm did not disclose its investment in the store.
“Our expansion into the state of Rhode Island is something that we are very excited about,” said Markus Hockenson, senior vice president of retail operations, TBC.
“As an organization, we continue to evaluate opportunities that make the most sense to us from a business perspective and for our customer base, and we’ll continue to do so in our efforts to expand our services to best meet the needs of our customers and prospective customers.”
The latest NTB store opening comes just days after the firm announced store openings in Arden Hills and Brooklyn Park, Minn., previously a Vrooom Auto Care and Midas Auto Service center, respectively.
