Free Oil Changes for Vets at Quick Change Oil

Quick Change Oil offered free oil changes to veterans and the spouses of deployed active service members. There were no appointments necessary, so vets could stop in and enjoy some refreshments while waiting for their vehicle. Owners Frank Saalfeld and Terry Rainforth also held a drawing for an American Tactical over/under 12 gauge shot gun with "Freedom is Not Free" engraved on it, courtesy of John Stockhill Jewelers. Vets and their spouses entered for a chance to win while in Quick Change Oil; the drawing was held the evening of Saturday, Nov. 12.

Congratulations go out to Perry Bartels for winning the shotgun this year! Perry served from 1972 to 1976 with 2 years reserve in the Army. He is a lifetime sportsman and is looking forward to killing some roosters.

This is the second year Quick Change Oil has provided this service, and offers a 10% discount on all services to veterans throughout the year. Cross Petroleum Oil has donated the oil and CARQUEST has donated the oil filters for this special.

"We want to do this because of what they've done, and continue to do for us. I have the freedom to own and operate a business because of their sacrifices. This is one way we can show our appreciation, honor them, and give something back," said co-owner Saalfeld.

Quick Change Oil is located at 714 W Holly St. in Sidney, Monatana. They are open Monday – Friday from 8:00am – 5:30 pm. For more information, contact them at 406-488-1915.
