    Former Monro Muffler Assistant Manager Charged with Grand Larceny

    A former Monro Muffler assistant manager has been charged with grand larceny in the fourth degree.According to the Steuben County Sheriff's, 32-year-old Steven Button Jr. of Campbell is also charged with five counts of falsifying business records.Monro Muffler in the Village of Riverside reported an employee theft in August 2016.Deputies say Button did not deposit several bank deposits into the bank.Monro Muffler also reported that $3,000 was missing from the deposits.Button was taken to the Steuben County Jail on $2,000 cash bail or $4,000 property bond.
