The Automotive Oil Change Association (AOCA) is once again co-locating its annual iFLEX convention and tradeshow with the International Carwash Association’s (ICA) annual The Car Wash Show. The show will be held April 4-6 at the Las Vegas Convention Center, with a couple of pre-show events on April 3. The Car Wash Show brings together the leaders, innovators and decision makers of the professional carwash and fast lube industries. In 2016, the show boasted almost 8,000 attendees representing nearly 10,000 car care locations all over the world. At the show, you can connect with hundreds of vendors on the trade show floor, network with other operators and discover new products and innovations.
Education The Car Wash Show and iFLEX 2017 will feature a number of industry educational events geared to providing practical advice and real-life solutions for business growth and success. A complete list of educational sessions was unavailable as of press time. However, it has been reported that sessions will cover people management, customer experience, industry trends, business management and marketing.
Registration There are several different registration types offered at this year’s show. New for 2017 is the VIP Access. This registration lets you receive your badge by mail in advance of the show to avoid waiting in lines when you arrive. You get to experience two extra hours of VIP trade show time before the show opens on Wednesday and Thursday. You will receive access to the Century Club lounge throughout the show, and you will enjoy free luggage check at the Las Vegas Convention Center and a complimentary shuttle ride to McCarran Airport on Thursday, April 6. VIP access is a $100 add-on for All Access Pass holders. The All Access Pass gets you access to the trade show, welcome reception and exhibitor booth crawl, as well as more than 70 educational seminars, quick hits and the keynote speech. Hotel and Travel The Westgate Las Vegas Resort & Casino is the official headquarters hotel for The Car Wash Show 2017 and AOCA. The cut-off date for the guaranteed group rate is March 8. After March 8, reservations will be taken on a case-by-case basis. The group rate is $124 plus 12 percent room tax per night. Included in the $124 rate is a mandatory $15 daily resort fee, which includes complimentary wireless Internet access and health club access.
