Two arrested in Fond du Lac robbery

A man and a woman were arrested following the robbery of a Fond du Lac business Friday. The robbery happened at Heights Finance on Rickmeyer Drive at 4:35 p.m. Police say a man entered the business and demanded cash. No threat was made or weapon displayed. Police say the man ran out of the door with an undisclosed amount of cash and drove away. A short time later, a car, matching the description of the suspect's car, was spotted about a mile east of the business on W. Johnson Street. Following a traffic stop, the man took off running.

A short time later, a car, matching the description of the suspect's car, was spotted about a mile east of the business on W. Johnson Street.

Following a traffic stop, the man took off running. A woman, who was inside the vehicle, was arrested, police say.

Officers set up a perimeter and dispatched a K-9 unit to search for the man.

The man was taken into custody at Valvoline Instant Oil Change on W. Johnson Street within minutes.

No one was injured.
