Aftermarket Auto Parts Alliance Inc. (AAPA) has launched a sweepstakes that will give 25 auto technicians a chance to win a custom Corvette and $25,000 in cash.
The Kentucky Horsepower Corvette Giveaway sweepstakes runs Sept. 1 through Nov. 30. AAPA is the holding for Auto Value and Bumper to Bumper parts distributors.
Twenty-five winners will receive a four-day trip to Louisville, Ky., May 17-20, 2018, where they will visit the National Corvette Museum and attend a spirit of Kentucky after party on Fourth Street Live downtown. Each winner can take one guest.
They also will spend a full day at Churchill Downs racetrack watching live thoroughbred racing, then attend a reception at the Kentucky Derby Museum. During that reception, three winners will win one of three custom Corvettes and $25,000 in cash.
"Hands down, no one comes close to our sweepstakes," said Pat Winters, vice president of sales and marketing at Warren Distribution Inc. and chairman of AAPA's sales and marketing committee.
"We have the best promotion prizes and are able to recognize hundreds of customers as a winner every year."
The contest is open to legal U.S. or Canadian residents at leasts 21 years old who are employed in the automotive aftermarket as repair technicians who purchase or use auto parts in order to repair customer vehicles.
AAPA also is giving away $45,000 in gift cards: $500 each to 30 first prize winners; $250 each to 60 second prize winners; and $100 each to 150 third prize winners.
Professional technicians will receive an entry for every eligible $150 purchase. MyPlace4Parts users automatically are entered with each qualifying purchase.
