“I was working inside on a car and I heard a loud ‘pop,’” said the vehicle owner, who wished to remain anonymous. “I ran out to see what it was, and there were flames pouring out of the back driver’s side window.

“I grabbed the fire extinguisher and emptied it on my vehicle, then grabbed the water hose and just went at it,” he added.

The vehicle owner had the fire completely extinguished before the Coldwater Fire Department arrived.

The vehicle fire is still under investigation as to how it ignited.
