HEADLIGHT RESTORATION IN THREE STEPS
3M Auto recently revealed its newly improved 3M Heavy Duty Headlight Restoration Kit.
The easy-to-use kit makes the headlight restoration process easier and more cost efficient. With just three steps — sand, refine and protect — headlights will become clear and sparkling.
In the sanding step, a gold 3M abrasive disc attaches to the drill disc holder and sands the surface. In the refine step, a 3M P800 white disc is attached to the drill disc holder. Using medium pressure, a tech sands the headlights to reduce and refine the scratches that remain from the previous step. Then, a gray P3000 3M Trizact disc is used. In the final, protect step, a 3M Quick Clear Coat is applied with coating wipes.
