Spring is well underway, and iFLEX at The Car Wash Show 2018 is now behind us. What a spectacular event it was! The AOCA team thoroughly enjoyed meeting countless operators and industry partners from across the country at the oil change industry’s signature event.
On behalf of the AOCA Board of Directors and staff, I’d like to thank all of our members who attended the President’s Reception and Membership Meeting at the House of Blues on April 25. It was quite a turnout, with new connections made and old friendships reignited. Attendees were given a glimpse into the state of the association, and there was plenty of fun had along the way.
iFLEX will be held in conjunction with The Car Wash Show again next year, so please save the date for May 13-15, 2019, in Nashville, Tennessee. It’s always a good time in Music City.
As we look beyond iFLEX, we are excited to announce our fall management certification courses. The Chicago Management Course will be held September 11-12, and our Dallas Management Course will be October 23-24. Our education committee is currently working behind the scenes to ensure top-notch content for our upcoming courses.
For those of you who are not currently members of AOCA, I hope you will consider joining our community. Your membership allows us to support the industry and provide exclusive educational and networking opportunities, government affairs advocacy, and other invaluable resources like our technician academy, management courses, the AOCA Talk forum and Savings4Members program, just to name a few.
