Express Oil Change & Tire Engineers, a Birmingham, Alabama-based fast lube and full-service automotive chain and franchisor, is excited to announce Ricky Brooks, the company’s CEO, as an EY Entrepreneur of the Year 2015 Southeast finalist.
A panel of independent judges chose the selected finalists based on excellence and extraordinary success in areas such as innovation, financial performance and personal commitment to both their business and community.

Brooks opened his first Express Oil Change store in 1987 before becoming CEO of the fast-paced growing automotive chain in 1996. Under his leadership, Express Oil Change & Tire Engineers has expanded to more than 240 locations. He was chosen as a finalist in the Hospitality and Retail category and was only one of two finalists in the state of Alabama.

The recipients of the award will be announced June 24 during a black-tie gala in Nashville, Tennessee. The regional award recipients will then go on to compete at a national level.
