Employee Struck by Vehicle at Oil Change Shop

A 20 year old male employee sustained minor injuries prior to attempting an oil change at One Stop Express Lube at 145 West Columbia Avenue in Battle Creek, Michigan. Battle Creek Police were called to the scene at 12:40 p.m. on Friday. Authorities say a 38 year old woman had pulled her car into a bay in preparation for the work to begin. The woman failed to stop, hitting the employee who was standing in front to guide her into place. The man then jumped onto the hood. Police say he only sustained minor injuries along with some cuts.
