Theft at Ohio Take 5 Oil Change

On Jan. 14, police were dispatched to Take 5 Oil Change on Broadview Road in Seven Hills, Ohio, regarding a breaking-and-entering report.

The arriving officer talked to three employees, who said when they arrived at work they noticed the safe inside of the store had been broken into. Upon closer look, one employee said a portion of the bay door appeared to have been removed and then replaced.

The officer noted footprints going to and from the parking lot from the east side of the building. As for the safe, which had been forced open and had a damaged keypad, more than $1,300 was missing.

The officer noted similar breaking and entering incidents involving the same method to enter Take 5 locations have been reported around Northeast Ohio.
