A Missouri man is facing a felony charge for unlawful use of a weapon after threatening a Jiffy Lube employee with a knife.

A Missouri man is facing a felony charge for unlawful use of a weapon after threatening a Jiffy Lube employee with a knife.

According to ABC 17 News, 30 year old Justin L. Thorton was arrested March 27 around 4:30 p.m. near Stewart and Providence roads in Columbia.

Reports say Thorton pulled a knife and threatened an employee at the Jiffy Lube on Providence Road after he was asked to leave.

The employee cooperated with investigators, sharing that he had also pulled a knife to defend himself.

A knife was found on Thorton when he was arrested. He is scheduled to appear in court later this month.
