June 17, 2019— Henley Enterprises, a Massachusetts-based franchisee of Valvoline Instant Oil Change, is partnering with the U.S. Army to guarantee job interviews for current or former Army, Army Reserve or ROTC service members.

The franchisee held a signing ceremony to announce the partnership on June 7, according to a press release.

"When recruiting new talent, we look for the same qualities the Army teaches its soldiers – leadership, discipline, a strong work ethic, trust, honesty and a teamwork mindset," said Henley CEO Don Smith in the release.

The opportunities are open for positions like tech, customer service advisor and management.

"Valvoline Instant Oil Change is providing additional benefits to our soldiers with this partnership and guaranteeing interviews to those who qualify. They are making the commitment to veterans in the community. They will have access to a talent pool with knowledge, skills and abilities that put them ahead of their peers," said LTC Ron Anzalone, U.S. Army New England Recruiting Battalion Commander.

As the largest VIOC franchisee, Henley employs 2,000 people in more than 200 service centers, according to the release. It operates in California, Delaware, Florida, Louisiana, Massachusetts, Maryland, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island and Virginia.
